Who We AreWhat is TLCF?
The Tower Lakes Community Foundation (TLCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as a steward for a capital pool dedicated to strengthening and enriching the local community. As one of more than 1,000 community foundations established nationwide, it provides a means for investors of all financial backgrounds to participate in philanthropy of the community. Donations to the foundation are designed to offer donors the maximum possible tax advantages and are returned to the community in the form of grants.
How Your DonAtions Benefit the Community
Your donations helps build a self-sustaining community resource right here in Tower Lakes. Your contributions are specifically directed to benefit community projects and local organizations that serve the unique needs of our area. Furthermore, your support gives the Tower Lakes Community Foundation access to new financial opportunities, such as matching grants and other outside philanthropic capital, which were previously out of reach prior to the foundation’s formation in 2009.

How can I apply for a grant from the TLCF?
Eligible individuals or organizations can submit a grant application by contacting the Foundation or downloading the Grant Request Form from the Grants page on this site. The board reviews applications for alignment with our mission and community benefit.
Is my donation to TLCF tax-deductible?
Yes. The Tower Lakes Community Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We provide tax receipts for any gift of $250 or more.
Can I volunteer or get involved with the TLCF?
